Expression of Interest – Locum Dentist | Australia-Wide Opportunities

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning across general and emergency dentistry
• Deliver a range of treatments including restorations, extractions, and urgent care, with scope aligned to your clinical experience
• Manage patient flow and prioritise emergency cases as required
• Communicate treatment plans clearly and educate patients on oral health and preventive care
• Work collaboratively with dental assistants, oral health therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Australian standards and regulations
• Adapt to different practice environments and systems to ensure continuity of care

The Opportunity

Locum opportunities typically range from 1 week through to 6+ month placements, depending on practice requirements and your availability.

• $800 base retainer per working day or 40% commission, whichever is greater

• Minimum 2 years’ experience practising in Australia
• Confident working independently across general and emergency dentistry
• Current AHPRA registration
