We’re now looking for a proactive and motivated Paralegal to join our high‑performing in‑house Legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a third or fourth year law student to gain hands‑on, practical experience in a supportive and professional environment—while studying.
Employment: Casual - 2 days per week (flexible with days)
Location: Padstow Office
Pay: $35.15ph Including Casual Loading
About the Role
Working closely with our experienced in‑house lawyers, you’ll provide broad legal and administrative support across a range of matters. This role offers exposure to commercial, franchising and corporate legal work, as well as modern legal operations and document automation.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with preparation of legal template documents, including:
Franchise agreements
Guarantees
Confidentiality agreements
Leases
Coding documents for automation and building templates and workflows within our matter management system
Conducting legal research and monitoring legal and regulatory developments
Reformatting and updating legal content into new templates
Supporting legal file maintenance, record management and company secretarial activities
Responding to internal enquiries and providing general administrative support to the Legal team

Current enrolment as a 3rd or 4th year law student
A genuine interest in gaining experience within an in‑house legal environment
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
A confident, professional communication style (written and verbal)
Strong time management skills and ability to balance competing priorities
High levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
A customer‑service mindset and willingness to help where needed
Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
