Job description
Who we are Capture One builds professional photography software for people who care deeply about their craft. Our focus is simple: give photographers reliable, high-performance tools to capture, edit, and collaborate without getting in the way of the work. We’re uncompromising about image quality, speed, and color accuracy, and we’re known for delivering one of the most trusted tethered workflows in the industry. From large commercial shoots and smaller productions to personal projects, photographers around the world use Capture One to do their best work. Our role is to support that work quietly and reliably, so the focus stays where it belongs: on the images. Today, our community includes more than 250,000 photographers worldwide, and we’re proud to build software that plays a part in everything from fashion and advertising to art, culture, and everyday creative work. In short, we build tools for photography and the people who practice it. The Role Are you a data-driven, insight-obsessed Senior Business Analyst who wants to make a real impact on a fast-growing, international software company? Do you have a passion for turning complex data into clear, actionable decisions that drive business growth — and the ambition to scale that impact across an entire organization? If you are the kind of person who gets energized by breaking down data barriers and putting the right insights in the hands of every team, then you could be the next Senior Business Analyst for our Data & Business Insights team at Capture One Hellas! But that's not all. We are looking for someone who doesn't just work with AI — someone who lives and breathes it. You will actively explore and apply AI & ML tools to accelerate data democratization, create advanced, actionable insights at scale, and contribute to an AI-driven data approach. As our new Senior Business Analyst, you will sit at the heart of our Data & Business Insights team, delivering the insights that bridge company strategy and day-to-day operations, supporting both long-term decision-making and short-term execution. You will work across B2C and B2B contexts, from North Star Metrics to granular, KPI-driven optimizations, ensuring the right insights reach the right people at the right time. You will be part of Capture One's Business Growth Operations team and report to the Director of Business Growth Operations. What you will be doing You will be working across strategy and operations, turning data into decisions that matter: Delivering actionable insights within the right context that link OKRs and KPIs to both strategy and operations, supporting long-term and short-term decision making. As business needs evolve, you should quickly develop familiarity with new business models and metrics to ensure insights remain relevant and timely. Contribute to and maintain a structured insights backlog, capturing business needs, tracking progress, and executing deliverables in line with the priorities set by the Data & Business Insights team Product Manager. Analyze data to derive insights that inform business decisions and strategies, define relevant success metrics, and present findings to stakeholders clearly, concisely, and in an actionable way. Work closely with departments, actively participating in OKR-driven processes, providing analytical support, tracking performance, and helping teams interpret data to inform continuous improvement. Analyze the performance of commercial initiatives and experiments, providing actionable recommendations to support improvement and decision-making Build dashboards and data models across multiple product stacks and DWHs and collaborate with data engineers to define pipeline requirements that support analytical needs. Contribute to the team's data democratization mission by identifying barriers to data access, piloting approaches that put the right insights in the hands of every team, and leveraging AI tools to scale analytical output across the organization — at the pace and scale the business needs. Leverage AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to create advanced, actionable insights that push the boundaries of what data can do for the business. Foster a data-driven culture across the organization by enabling teams to interpret and trust data and inspire teams to embed insights into their everyday decision-making. Support the adoption and effective use of existing self‑serve analytics solutions by ensuring insights are well‑contextualized, relevant, and actionable for business teams, helping reduce reliance on central analytics teams What experiences are we looking for You bring a rare combination of strategic thinking, analytical depth, and hands-on technical expertise: Deep understanding of both B2C and B2B SaaS businesses at multiple altitude levels, from Company Strategy and North Star Metrics to Operations, Tactics, and KPI-driven continuous optimizations. Strong familiarity with SaaS and subscription business metrics — including ARR, churn, LTV, lifecycle performance analysis, and conversion funnels (acquisition, activation, retention) and the ability to connect data insights directly to revenue outcomes. Proven track record in building insights to solve company-level problems, balancing effort, tooling, and time to delivery to maximize the impact of analytical work. Proven experience in democratizing data across an organization with various techniques and tools, towards tangible outcomes. Proven hands-on experience in applying AI tools to analytical workflows, with a genuine drive to develop and deepen the capability in practice. Proven ability to design AI-assisted analytical workflows, including the critical evaluation and validation of AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability. Proficiency in building dashboards, data models, and a solid understanding of data pipelines across multiple product stacks, DWHs, and Cloud Services. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Bloomreach, and Azure Analytics. Solid understanding of digital marketing channels (paid, owned, lifecycle/CRM) Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
