Junior Operations Analyst (6-months contract)

Responsibilities: Assist in processing corporate action events for both local and global markets accurately and in a timely manner. Support the submission of client instructions to Share Registrar or Custodian within the given deadlines. Communicate with Share Registrar or relevant parties on corporate action matters when required. Monitor announcements from Bursa Malaysia and US markets to keep updated on corporate actions. Assist in verifying and processing dividends, interests, and other corporate events. Help coordinate pre-matching for share transfers and follow up with involved parties. Support daily settlement operations for local and international markets, focusing on equities and other financial products. Assist in maintaining operational controls using internal systems and tools. Participate in system testing (UAT) and provide feedback for improvements or updates. Assist in preparing regulatory reports and ensuring timely submission. Carry out other ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned by the team lead/manager.

Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or related fields. Some working experience or internship in the financial or stockbroking industry is an advantage, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of Bursa Malaysia, capital market operations, or corporate actions is a plus. Good command of English and Malay; proficiency in Chinese is an added advantage. A fast learner, responsible, and detail-oriented team player with strong time management skills. Willing to grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
