About Us Williams Electric & HVAC is a fast-growing commercial electrical contractor operating across the DFW metroplex. We specialize in large-scale commercial and industrial projects, with a focus on warehouse, tilt-up, and complex electrical systems. We are actively scaling and looking for a high-level estimator who understands how to win work—not just price it. Position Overview We are seeking to add an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in commercial construction to lead estimating efforts on projects ranging from $100K to $2M+ electrical scopes . This role is critical to our growth. You will be responsible for building competitive, accurate bids while working closely with leadership to refine strategy, pricing, and client targeting. This is not an entry-level role —we are looking for someone who can think, not just count. Responsibilities Prepare complete electrical estimates using Accubid, including: Takeoffs Labor units & crew building Material pricing & vendor quotes Analyze plans, specs, and addenda to fully scope projects Identify risk, gaps, and scope holes before bid submission Develop bid strategies (not just lowest number— smart number ) Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing Build and maintain relationships with GCs, developers, and procurement teams Participate in scope reviews and handoff meetings with project managers Support value engineering and design-build opportunities Track bid results and continuously refine estimating approach

3+ years of electrical estimating experience (commercial REQUIRED) Strong proficiency in Accubid Deep understanding of: Electrical systems (distribution, gear, feeders, branch) National Electrical Code requirements Labor productivity Job costing Real-world installation methods Ability to read and interpret full construction drawing sets Experience bidding to general contractors and competitive bid environments Ability to manage multiple bids at once under deadlines
