Job description

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Belfast Hospice.

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Marie Curie. This Band 6 role focuses on delivering holistic, person-centred care for individuals living with terminal illness, supporting their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing through specialist occupational therapy interventions.

  • Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 6 (aligned with AFC) £39,959- £48,117 per annum + enhancements (pro rata)
  • Contract:  Permanent, 15 hours per week.
  • Based: Belfast Hospice

What we’re looking for:  

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with a degree and relevant post-registration qualification.
  • Proven experience in therapeutic, rehabilitative, and supportive treatments.
  • Strong understanding of palliative care principles and holistic needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across locations.
