The Boxford - Pizza Chef

We are seeking an experienced Pizza Chef to join our culinary team in Newburry, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality pizzas and contributing to our restaurant's success.

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas to meet customer orders and maintain quality standards
• Create and manage pizza sauce recipes and topping combinations
• Develop new pizza recipes and contribute to menu innovation
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations in the kitchen
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations
• Manage multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace
• Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent culinary results
• Address customer requests and dietary requirements when possible

 

 

• Demonstrable extensive experience as a Pizza Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment is essential
• Mastery of hand-stretched pizza making techniques is a critical requirement
• Comprehensive understanding and strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards is non-negotiable
• Proven capability to perform efficiently under high-pressure situations and manage time effectively is crucial
• Superior teamwork abilities and exemplary communication skills are mandatory
• Demonstrated innovative approach to developing new pizza recipes and flavour combinations is required
• Willingness and ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, is a necessity
• Meticulous attention to detail in food preparation and presentation is imperative
• Unwavering commitment to delivering consistently high-quality, exceptional pizza is essential
