Job Description
Provide medical care and treatment across the lifespan, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions. Serve as the first point of contact within the healthcare system, coordinate care with specialists, and build long-term relationships with patients to improve health outcomes. Provide medical services, including preventative care, health screenings, and wellness visits. Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and manage chronic diseases. Conduct patient examinations, order/interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. Prescribe medications/therapies. Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services. Maintain medical records.
Requirements: MD/DO/or foreign equivalent, PA medical license/eligibility, completion of residency in internal medicine, and board eligible (BE) or board certified (BC) in internal medicine.
