Job Title: Part-Time Dental Hygienist on Fridays from 7:30 am-5 pm (1 hour lunch)

Pierpan Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis, working one day per week. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who values patient-centered care, enjoys building relationships, and takes pride in promoting oral health in a friendly, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures

• Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and screenings

• Take dental radiographs (X-rays)

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care

• Assist the dentist with exams and treatment planning

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols

• Create a positive and comfortable experience for patients

Qualifications:

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of North Carolina

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality care

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
