We provide holistic services that uplift and empower our community.

Team Overview:
We are looking to grow our behavioral health department to meet the needs of our growing community. Our positive patient feedback speaks to the quality of care and commitment we stand for. We have a state-of-the-art facility with friendly, supportive, experienced, and collaborative staff ready to work with you. There are many opportunities to learn and grow with us.
Our Core Values:
- Putting Patients First: Every decision, every action, revolves around the well-being of those we serve.
- Powered by Community: We are not just a healthcare center; we are a community-driven force, igniting change and progress.
- Driven by Collaboration: Together, we are stronger. Collaboration fuels our innovation and drives our success.
- Empowering Success: We believe in empowering our team members to reach new heights, fostering a culture of growth and achievement.
- Nurturing Growth: Personal and professional growth isn't just encouraged; it's nurtured, supported, and celebrated.
Work Hours:
- Monday and Wednesday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Position Overview:
- Patient-Centered Care: Serve as a welcoming, attentive presence at the heart of every patient encounter — obtaining and documenting vital signs accurately to provide the clinical team with the real-time information that drives quality psychiatric care. Draw bloodwork as directed, ensuring each step is handled with professionalism and patient comfort in mind.
- Empower Patient Wellness: Champion the well-being of every individual by checking in with patients regarding medication effectiveness, side effects, and adverse reactions, and promptly reporting findings to the provider. Support patients and families with clear, compassionate education on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and the general medical issues that intersect with mental health — because an informed patient is an empowered one.
- Facilitate Coordination and Communication: Act as a responsive point of contact for patient calls and walk-ins — gathering information, assessing urgency, and coordinating directly with the provider to ensure every patient is directed toward timely, appropriate care. Respond to all patient clinical questions promptly, working alongside providers to determine next steps and ensure no concern goes unaddressed.
- Champion Medication Access and Continuity: Attend to all patient medication refill requests with diligence, including I-STOP verification and queuing medications for provider review. Obtain prior authorizations for medications — and support appeals when indicated — advocating persistently to remove barriers between patients and the treatments they depend on.
- Support Seamless Care Coordination: Serve as a key connector across disciplines, coordinating care under provider direction with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, and case managers. Interface with colleagues across the Center's service lines — including women's health, pediatrics, adult medicine, internal medicine, and acute care — to ensure shared patients receive integrated, whole-person support.
- Sustain Clinical Precision Through Monitoring and Tracking: Proactively track screening labs for lithium, Depakote, and atypical antipsychotics, alerting providers when tests are due so no patient falls behind on essential safety monitoring. Contact patients to relay lab results and follow-up instructions as directed, and complete all patient paperwork — including documentation support for treatment plans — accurately and on time.
- Uphold Excellence Through Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), reflecting the highest standards of clinical accountability. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings, and ensure full compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulatory standards — because the trust our patients place in us is the foundation of everything we do.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least six months of direct client-facing experience in a healthcare, social services, or community-based setting
- Strong commitment to team-based care, paired with the initiative and drive to take ownership of your role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively to patients and all members of the medical team
- Strong work ethic, with demonstrated comprehension, deductive reasoning, and eagerness to learn new clinical techniques
- Ability to maintain accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPR certified a plus
- Phlebotomy a plus
- Electronic Medical Records experience a plus
Pay & Benefits:
- $22 - $26 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
- Generous Paid Time Off and Sick Time, ensuring you have the flexibility to recharge and rejuvenate.
- 8 Paid Holidays
- 403(b) Retirement Plan, setting you up for a secure future.
- Short-term and Long-term disability
- Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
