Job description
I'm finalizing a board game product with our manufacturer and need an experienced graphic designer to make production-ready adjustments to two elements: Adventure Cards and the Game Box. All existing artwork is complete — this is strictly a production prep project, not a creative design job.
- *Scope of Work:**
- *1. Adventure Cards (One Side)**
- Outline/curve all text on the back of the Adventure Cards per games' print specifications
- Ensure fonts are properly converted so no font files are needed by the printer
- *2. Game Box**
- Transfer existing box artwork onto an updated manufacturer template (template changed after initial submission)
- Create a gold foil layer per manufacturer specifications
- Create a cut-out/die-cut layer per manufacturer specifications
- *Requirements:**
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign (this is NOT a Canva project)
- Experience preparing print-ready files for board game or packaging manufacturers
- Understanding of outlining/curving text, die-cut layers, spot color layers (gold foil), and bleed/safe zones
- Ability to follow manufacturer-specific guidelines and tutorials
- All source artwork will be provided via Google Drive
- *Nice to Have:**
- Previous experience working with board game manufacturers
- Familiarity with packaging dielines and foil stamping layer setup
- *To Apply:**
Please include examples of print-ready production work you've done — especially board games, card games, or product packaging. Let me know your price and estimated turnaround time.
This is a straightforward production prep project for someone who knows their way around pre-press files. Looking forward to hearing from you!
