Position Details Palm Lake Group is seeking a Part Time Talent & HR Coordinator to join our Southport Head Office HR Team. The Talent & HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both recruitment and core human resources functions across the organisation. Working closely with hiring managers, employees, and the wider HR team, this role ensures efficient talent acquisition processes and accurate HR operational support in alignment with organisational policies and compliance requirements. This is a dynamic and varied role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate and employee experience. This is a Part Time, 4 day per week role, with flexible working hours available. Monday & Friday availability will be essential. Responsibilities As the Talent & HR Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering a seamless end-to-end recruitment experience, maintaining high-quality HR administration, and contributing to a positive and engaging employee experience. Your responsibilities will include: Talent Acquisition Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job ad posting, candidate screening, shortlisting, interview scheduling, reference checks, and pre-employment compliance Serve as a key point of contact for candidates, proactively managing communications to deliver a professional, engaging, and timely experience while keeping applicants informed and supported throughout the recruitment process Partner with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, manage scheduling, and support efficient and effective hiring outcomes Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and recruitment pipelines within HR systems Assist in building talent pipelines and supporting sourcing activities for current and future workforce needs Identify opportunities to enhance recruitment processes and contribute to continuous improvement of the overall candidate experience Support a smooth transition from offer through to onboarding, ensuring new starters feel welcomed and set up for success from day one HR Administration Prepare & maintain HR documentation including contracts of employment, variations & other employment letters Assist with onboarding of new employees, including training, IT, sending welcome packs & following up probation reviews. Monitor & action the shared Human Resources inbox for general enquiries & escalating matters as appropriate Ensure accurate data entry and upkeep of HR systems and personnel files in alignment with PLG’s policy and legislative requirements Assist with internal audits & maintenance of registers, training & compliance items (licences, police clearances etc.) Assist with Human Resources projects & continuous improvement initiatives – with lots of exciting things happening in this space! Facilitate employee engagement, reward & recognition programs – the best bit! To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: A tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management (or soon to complete) Minimum 2 years administrative experience A trustworthy approach to handling confidential and sensitive information. Demonstrated strong computer literacy across MS Suite A process driven approach with excellent attention to detail & accuracy. A team orientated attitude & willingness to help others Confident & refined communication skills, with the ability to build warm, professional relationships with candidates and stakeholders. An enthusiasm to learn and grow your career in Human Resources.
