Job description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and organized Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team in Udaipur, India. In this pivotal role, you'll work alongside our F&B leadership to ensure seamless operations, exceptional guest experiences, and a motivated team across our food and beverage outlets. - Lead shift operations and allocate team duties to ensure smooth, efficient service delivery
- Supervise setup and flow of service to guarantee every guest receives a seamless, personalized experience
- Support rota planning, team scheduling, and departmental organization to maintain optimal staffing levels
- Drive team engagement through coaching, training initiatives, and performance motivation
- Manage stock control, ordering procedures, and inventory accuracy to optimize costs
- Maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all F&B areas in compliance with local regulations
- Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve service issues with empathy and decisiveness
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with the F&B Manager on strategic initiatives and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies at all times
- Support onboarding and development of new team members
**Required Qualifications:**
- Proven supervisory or management experience in a quality F&B environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in stock control, inventory management, and cost awareness
- Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and local regulations in Udaipur
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest service and handle complaints professionally
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with POS systems and F&B management software
- Knowledge of sales incentive programs and revenue optimization
- Training and coaching experience
- Certification in food safety or hospitality management
- Experience in a high-volume or upscale dining establishment
- Familiarity with local Udaipur dining culture and guest preferences
