Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled PowerBI Expert with strong Manufacturing Engineering knowledge and Problem-solving approach to design, develop, and maintain advanced data visualization solutions through PowerBI that drive operational excellence, enabling data-driven decision-making across different functions.
Specific Responsibilities:
Power BI/PowerApps Development:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI based on Business Needs (Operations, Engineering, Materials, KE Tracker, Quality, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Finance/Capital Savings)
Integrate data from ERP, MES, other manufacturing systems and functions
Create & maintain standard templates
Data Analysis & Insights:
Analyze and process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Provide actionable insights to reduce downtime, improve yield, and enhance efficiency.
Data Governance & Automation:
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Automate data refresh and reporting processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Materials, Quality, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Finance teams to collect data and develop the reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Work with Smart Factory to develop standardized reporting style and data measurement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Expert in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, Measures, Conditional columns).
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases. Data Sources : Excel, SQL, SharePoint lists
Data Entry and Transfers: PowerApps, Automate, MS Forms
Manufacturing Engineering Knowledge:
Understanding of manufacturing processes, lean Mfg principles, and KPIs (OEE, cycle time, Downtime, scrap rate).
Familiarity with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Other Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes and implementing practical resolutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
Certifications in Power BI or Data Analytics
· Overall experience 5-7 years in Mfg Engineering (with specific Data Analytics experience 3+ years)
Language/Communication:
Highly proficient in English & able to communicate effectively with Function Head level stakeholders on routine basis
Since the role include to support USA, the associate should have the flexibility to work in 2nd shifts that may range from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm , to cover up to 1pm CT (subject to change).
