SOSi is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Basic Life Support Services (LSS) operations in Caracas, Venezuela, in support of our U.S. government customer. The Project Manager will oversee all operational, logistical, and life support functions required to sustain deployed personnel in an austere environment.

This role is responsible for ensuring continuous, safe, and efficient delivery of essential services for an initial population of approximately 20 personnel, with the capability to scale operations to support up to 200 personnel during surge periods.

Essential Job Duties

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
  • Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals; provide necessary documentation support.
  • Responsible for managing, monitoring, and tracking services.
  • Act as the Contractor’s representative ensuring all task order requirements are met.
  • Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
  • Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements.
  • Plan and manage projects.
  • Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications.
  • Track locations and activities of assets.
  • Coordinate flow of information between staff and USG representatives.
  • Resolve issues.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Secret Government Security Clearance. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Facilities, Contracts, or related field, OR ten (10) years of direct project management experience in lieu of degree.
  • Fifteen (15) years of support services and/or facilities management experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years managing services for large facilities or operations.
  • Valid driver’s license from home of record.
  • Strong English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) or similar certification
  • Overseas facilities management experience.
  • Prior international experience, especially in austere or harsh environments.

Work Environment

  • Standard working hours; may require occasional evening or weekend work.
  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions.
  • Exposure to potentially hazardous materials and environments; appropriate safety measures must be followed.
