Description:

Histologist, Fulltime with St Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA

Position Purpose:

Position is responsible for processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and processing of frozen sections from OR.

What you will do:

• Processing, embedding, microtomy, staining and processing of Frozen sections from the OR
• Accurately Performs all histology procedures to meet the needs and expectations of the pathologists’ in providing quality patient care.
• Assisting the Pathology Lab Supervisor
• Other Duties assigned in the Lab.

What you will need:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: HT/ HTL (ASCP)
•  Education:  Associate Degree in Applied Sciences
•  Experience: Prefer at least 2yrs exp as Histologist
