Job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performing general maintenance duties at all Cook’s locations under the direction of the Manager of Facilities. General Maintenance & Repairs: • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, fixtures, and equipment (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC). • Conduct minor repairs such as patching drywall, painting, replacing light fixtures and ballasts, repairing door hardware, and fixing leaks. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues. • Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture or equipment for meetings, events, or office moves. • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner. • Provides supplemental custodial support, including spill response, waste removal, and restocking of essential supplies. Groundskeeping & Exterior Maintenance: • Perform seasonal grounds work, including mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, and mulching. • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all exterior areas, including parking lots, and walkways. • Perform snow and ice removal from walkways and entry points during winter months. • Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment (e.g., mowers, blowers, trimmers). • Perform minor repairs to fences, pavement, exterior structures, and irrigation systems.
