Nail Technician

Deliver high-quality natural and artificial nail services to members of the university community in a professional, welcoming salon environment. This role combines technical expertise with outstanding customer service to ensure a positive, relaxing experience for every client.

Note: This is a part-time position (28) hours per week.

What you’ll do in this position:

  • Perform basic manicure, pedicure, shellac and artificial nail services including Luminary to satisfy patrons.
  • Be able to educate patrons on the basic care of nails and products carried by the salon.
  • Clean and organize the pedicure and manicure area.
  • Position requires normal courtesy and cooperation in dealing with other employee and/or the public.

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

  • A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
  • A current Nail Technician License or Cosmetology/Barber License from the State of Utah.
  • Public relations and customer service skills.

Preferred

  • Use of cash register and basic money handling skills.
