What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will be at the core of our mission to strengthen iA’s leadership position in the individual savings and retirement market. Your key responsibilities include:

• Calculating actuarial reserves and regulatory capital for individual savings and retirement products

• Analyzing, explaining, and simplifying financial results, and making recommendations to senior management to optimize financial performance

• Contributing to the optimization of the dynamic hedging program

• Producing financial projections related to budgeting and adverse scenario analyses, and recommending appropriate actions

• Participating in strategic initiatives supporting business plan execution and sustaining iA’s leadership within the industry

In this role, you will apply your actuarial expertise to support an ambitious strategic plan and have a direct impact on business decisions, within a high‑performing and collaborative team.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science

• Has three (3) years or more of relevant actuarial experience

• Possesses strong actuarial expertise, with experience in individual savings and retirement products; experience with segregated funds is a strong asset

• Is recognized for strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial results

• Stands out for collaboration, business acumen, and the ability to interact with senior‑level stakeholders

• Demonstrates rigor, positive energy, and a continuous improvement mindset

• Is comfortable working in a dynamic, results‑driven environment

• Demonstrates full fluency in French, both spoken and written
