[What the role is][What the role is]
As a Lecturer, your role is multifaceted, beyond curriculum development and facilitating learning. It also involves developing and nurturing the potential of learners in their lifelong learning journey and career aspirations. In addition, there will be opportunities for you to engage in industry or research projects, which will help you stay well-updated with industry developments and adapt to changing industry trends. You will also be responsible for establishing robust connections with industry partners to provide meaningful exposure for learners and enhance their learning experience.
[What you will be working on]
1. Conduct lessons, create teaching and assessment materials and mentoring of students.
2. Develop and maintain new/existing curriculum for learning units related to Aerospace Digitalisation, Aircraft Systems & Diagnostics, Smart Maintenance Practices, Aviation Data Analytics, Digital Twin applications, Human Factors, Aviation Legislation, Aerodynamics, etc.
3. Undertake projects/applied research work with both internal and external stakeholders.
4. Deploy effective pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning.
5. Lead or represent in committees and contribute to administrative/management tasks (i.e. outreach, student recruitment, project management etc.)

[What we are looking for]
1. Relevant qualifications in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. At least five years of relevant work experience in Aerospace Industry, including areas such as Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), Aerospace Manufacturing, Aviation Operations, Aerospace Systems Development, digital transformation in aerospace, smart maintenance systems, or aviation analytics.
3. Passionate about education and keen on mentoring, teaching and motivating youth and adult learners.
4. Strong industry linkages in the related field.
5. Self-driven, independent and possesses the readiness to work as a team.
6. A people-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
7. Keen interest in developing new capabilities through projects and self-learning.
8. Possess a strong interest in exploring new technologies and ability to explore and integrate new technologies into teaching.
9. Competent in digital and/or cyber security industry practices.
It would be an advantage if you
• have multi-disciplinary expertise across Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Operations, and Digital Technologies.
- have expertise in Digital Technologies, such as Augmented & Virtual Reality, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), simulation, or Digital Twin applications.
- have experience in applying digital technologies to Aerospace Maintenance, Operations, Training, or Manufacturing.
- have experience delivering industry-related seminars in Aerospace/Aviation or Aerospace Digitalisation.
- have strong planning and organizational skills.
