Production Coordinator, NBCU Academy (Freelance)

The NBCU Academy team is seeking a highly organized and creative Production Coordinator to contribute to the planning  and execution of our digital content and live event programming. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about storytelling and brings a strong understanding of social media and production workflows.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a short term position with an estimated duration of 4 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.  

• Support end-to-end production needs across broadcast, digital, and live event programming
• Coordinate graphics, conduct research and assist with video production
• Shoot, produce, edit and publish social media content with a strong understanding of platform best practices
•  Assist the department with creating schedules and coordinating on-site coverage.
• Partner cross-functionally with teams across production, marketing, communications, and HR.
• Create visual assets using tools like Canva

• 1+ year of production coordination experience 
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Proficient writing and research  skills and editorial judgment
• Skilled in producing social media content

Desired Characteristics:

• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Premiere, Excel and in-app social editing tools

Additional Requirements:

• Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

• Works more than 1,000 hours per measurement period:  
• Eligible for 401K after 1,000 hours worked in 12 consecutive months

Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00
