Description of Task to be Performed

AnaVation is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team and support our mission critical customer in Reston, VA. As our Technical Writeryou would provide coordination and authoring of technical writing and editing to all phases of documentation control and deployment. Responsibilities include the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. The Technical Writer composes and edits technical documentation for all the project’s hardware and software to include installation, configuration, code documentation and how-to documentation such as end-user guides for capabilities. The Technical Writer will also provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation and will format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel. This role requires use of multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.
