What We Offer Novant Health is building a premier Neurosciences & Psychiatry Institute across the South Carolina region, with a focus on Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Beaufort markets. We are actively developing a pipeline of neurology, neurosurgery, and behavioral health physicians to support continued growth across our expanding network of hospitals, outpatient clinics, and specialty care sites. Opportunities across multiple specialties, including: General Neurology Subspecialty Neurology (e.g., Stroke, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders) Neurosurgery Psychiatry (General Adult) Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Behavioral Health / Consult-Liaison Psychiatry Additional subspecialties as programs expand Program Highlights Employment through Novant Health Medical Group Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits First-year salary guarantee (for select roles) Relocation assistance and CME allowance Paid malpractice coverage Flexible practice models (outpatient, inpatient, or hybrid depending on role) Strong focus on work-life balance Opportunities for leadership, program development, and service line growth Access to modern clinic and hospital-based facilities What You'll Do Provide neurological and/or psychiatric care in outpatient, inpatient, or consultative settings Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological and behavioral health conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospital medicine, primary care, and specialty services Support integrated care models across neurology, psychiatry, and behavioral health Participate in program development and expansion of neurosciences and behavioral health services Contribute to improving access, outcomes, and patient experience Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety and Novant Health care standards What We're Looking For Education Graduate of an accredited school of medicine Completion of an accredited residency program Fellowship training (for subspecialty roles, as applicable) Licensure / Certification Board certified or board eligible in Neurology, Psychiatry, or related specialty Current MD/DO license (or eligibility) in South Carolina DEA license Experience & Skills Strong clinical expertise in neurology and/or psychiatry Interest in integrated care models and program development Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Why Choose Novant Health?
