Shipping Clerk

Overview Office shipping clerk is responsible for monitoring all daily outbound shipping activities. Coordinate with Grand Rapids transportation team on daily dock schedule requirements. Prepare documents, labels and bill of lading for all outbound shipments. Communicate internally with shipping team lead and daily outbound shipping activities. Responsibilities Prepare labels and documents for daily outbound shipments Communicates daily dock schedule to internal team Checks in/out drivers into the facility for outbound shipments Works with carriers on outbound shipping times and volumes Communicates end of day shipping results to Grand Rapids transportation team Tracks daily shipping volumes for reporting purposes Support other activities as needed Qualifications REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Interpersonal/collaborative skills Manage/ contribute to multiple dynamic priorities.
