Job description
Prepares food items for patient trays, cafeteria service or catering events. Cleans and sanitizes dishware, pots, and work areas. Operates kitchen equipment, works trayline, stocks supplies and other related tasks. Works under minimal supervision and acts as a resource to others in the department. Works in a professional, efficient manner to meet the needs of the patients and customers. Age-Related Competencies: Demonstrates the basic knowledge and skills (cognitive, technical, and interpersonal) necessary to identify age-specific patient needs, appropriate for this position. This includes appropriate tray service considerations for patients such as child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
