Recreational Therapist - St Elias Specialty Hospital

Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the Recreational Therapists plan, direct, and coordinate recreation programs for people with disabilities or illnesses to assist with maintaining or improving the patient's physical and emotional well-being. The Recreational Therapist will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.
