Electric & Automation Field Manager (f/m/x)

We, SMS Group Turkiye, are looking for a new team member to join our local set-up in Istanbul as

You as Electrics and Automation Field Manager, will report to Country Sales Manager and be primarily responsible for:  Leading the sales activities for Electrics, Automation and digitalisation  Execute or supervise the execution of projects / implementation at customer sites  Developing and maintaining relationships with customers  Conducting regular customer visits, managing customer relations, and troubleshooting  Meeting sales targets and KPI responsibilities  Coordinating between customers and SMS Group's worldwide project teams  Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence  Collaborate with SMS worldwide technical teams to ensure product offerings, meet client needs  Monitor industry trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly  Prepare and present sales reports to senior management

University degree preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering , other important factors for us are: At least 3 years experiences in commissioning of various automation and drive systems in steel or non-ferrous-metal plants  Minimum 5 years of general working experience is required  Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills  Having an established network within the metallurgy sector is a plus  Excellent command of written and spoken English (interviews will be conducted in English)  Self-motivated with the ability to work independently  Willingness and no restriction for travel  Having a valid driving license & Completed military service for male candidates  Willingness to live on the Asian side of Istanbul or nearby Geographical responsibilities: Mainly Türkiye, Occasionally abroad, steel and non-ferrous-metal plants including forging, extrusion, service centers etc. (can include all customers and potential customers of SMS group)
