Shop Welder Master

Ability to: - Perform all essential duties. - Use metal core mig, tig, fluxcore, Sub-arc or stick welding process. Must pass 6G test required with NDT and X-ray. - Independently fit up pipe, flanges, etc. - Perform quality x-ray and ultrasound test welds with minimum rework. - Read and manufacture from ISO drawings. - Advanced knowledge of cutting equipment including flame and plasma cutting as well as a gouger. - Comply with all applicable safety and environmental policies and procedures. - Work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department. - Position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides, and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools. - Working knowledge of using an Aluminum spool gun for common repair of compression components. - Perform position welds on code materials. - Read and understand blueprints.
