Kiln Operator

We are seeking a Kiln Operator to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating kilns, ensuring efficient and safe production processes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED; willing and able to work 1st shift - (5a-5p) on a 3-2-2 rotating schedule. Language Skills: • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with other employees of the organization Math Skills: • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Reasoning Ability: • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables.
