Asst Professor - Molecular Biology - Computational Biochemist

The Department of Molecular Biology (MOLB) and the School of Computing (SoC) at the University of Wyoming seeks candidates for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in the fall of 2026 working in computational biochemistry. Ideal candidates will have expertise in molecular, biochemical, cellular, or structural biology and their research will involve developing or making advanced use of computation, in data analysis and/or systems modeling, AI, machine learning, and/or large language model approaches. Tenure home will be in MOLB with a joint appointment in the newly formed SoC as appropriate for the candidate’s interest and experience.
