Position Summary:
Seasonal position focused on preparing and cooking a variety of food for the outlet. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment and involves a strong emphasis on quality, freshness, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Intermediate ski or snowboard experience is preferred due to location.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
- Execute all food preparation tasks, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Efficiently cook and assemble a variety of menu items.
- Maintain clean kitchen and organized pantry and cooler.
- Operate all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and cleaning procedures.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist with general kitchen duties, which may include dishwashing and receive deliveries.
- Other duties as assigned
Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications- Idaho Food Safety Certification (training provided)
Technical- Cooking Skills/Basic kitchen skills.
Physical Capabilities- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25lbs frequently, up to 50lbs occasionally.
Additional- Exposed to fumes, odors, mechanical and burn hazards.
Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required- English reading, writing and communication, basic math
Minimum time in related position- 6 months kitchen experience preferred
