Get to Know Your Team: Lovelace Medical Group is a multispecialty provider group which includes clinics, doctors and advanced practice providers in a broad range of specialties and primary care. Responsibilities Oversees nutritional management within the department and exercises daily responsibility for allocation of resources and coordination of activities. Responsible for nutritional care and support of hospital patients, counseling and instructing patients and outpatients on modified diets . Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Knowledge of Chemistry and Biology Knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance plans Qualifications Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area or equivalent combination of education and experience Registration through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (formerly American Dietetic Association) preferred registration eligibility required Licensed by the State of NM Preferred Job Requirements Master’s Degree in relevant area Previous job-related experience Oversees nutritional management within the department and exercises daily responsibility for allocation of resources and coordination of activities.
