The Purpose of Role:
We are looking for a driven, proactive, creative and resourceful Assistant Brand Manager who will be responsible for building strong brand equity for the assigned brands, adapting and implementing Global and Regional marketing plans in local context, crafting media and 360° communication campaigns, ensuring excellent consumer experience across the full funnel and partnering with cross-functional teams to execute projects and propel the growth of the category and brands.
Using breakthrough thinking, consumer, brand and customer understanding, this role will require you to create a clear and ambitious growth vision and strategy plan for the assigned portfolio of brands, and secure buy-in and alignment with extended local team.

Team Structure:
- Reporting to: Business Country Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end development and execution of 360° marketing campaigns across PR, media, digital, and offline channels.
- Be responsible for the adaptation of Global and Regional Brand Plans in the local market, including Business Case development and definition of Marketing Ps: price, place, positioning and promotion.
- Manage agency partners to ensure high-quality creative output and strong ROI.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities. Translate insights into clear brand and campaign strategies, as well as new product pricing and launches.
- Own BMI brand budget, including day to day management, forecasting, invoice tracking, raising purchase orders and being responsible for prioritizing relevant spend to maximize brand impact.
- Analyze and review brand, competitive, category and consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and marketplace performance.
- Analyze brand Profit and Loss (P&L) and drive the profitability of the brand.
- Builds productive cross-category working relationship with Customer Development, Global and Regional Marketing teams, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to manage the brand’s day to day operations.
- Lead branding efforts of flagship store to build long term brand equity.
- Work closely with Store Operating Partner team to run the store including product development, promotional retail calendar and PR campaigns for the store.
- Lead the implementation of marketing plans and promotional calendar for e-commerce and quick commerce retailers.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience in brand/product management/marketing, preferably in the consumer goods industry
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective and integrated brand plans
- Proven experience in leading a cross-functional team to deliver projects with excellence, on time and in full.
- Proven experience in managing creative and media agencies, and aware of digital marketing terms and trends.
- Excellent communicator, able to work effectively with the wider team and external teams.
- Immersed in the world of the consumer, intimately understanding consumers’ current needs and curious about future needs and trends.
- You are experienced in proven project and budget management.
- You are knowledgeable in end-to-end marketing management, have the ability to understand the big picture and are also comfortable with details and managing the operations.
- Must be amenable for a contract-based role of 9 months
