Strategic Lead, Regulation, Policy & Projects

The Council is looking for a motivated, technical and focused strategic leader to support the Council's housing function to build and maintain high-levels of regulatory compliance. The postholder will be acting as a 'friendly regulator' to the housing services, adopting a culture of good governance and assurance, driving up quality of service provision for residents. We are looking for a housing professional with an expert understanding of the Consumer Standards, expectations from the Ombudsman and the LGSCO who can support operational teams to deliver in the way regulatory bodies expect. The postholder will be adept at developing robust governance structures and building an assurance framework that keeps the organisation safe and ensures high standards for residents.
