Analyst Program - Data EngineerThe Fiserv Technology Analyst Program is a two-year, early career development experience designed to accelerate your growth in the fintech industry. Through two structured assignments within a specific technology track, analysts gain hands-on experience, build technical and professional skills, and collaborate across teams to solve real business challenges. About your role:
As an Analyst Program - Data Engineer on the Data Commerce Solutions team, you will support the development of data-driven solutions by working with large datasets and modern data tools that help generate insights across commerce and financial services. You will partner with analysts and cross-functional teams to build, improve, and document data pipelines and processes that support fraud insights, economic trend analysis, and customer-focused solutions.
What you'll do:
- Support data collection, cleansing, and analysis activities across large and complex datasets.
- Develop data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and cleansing data to improve data quality and analytical readiness.
- Assist with creating data visualizations and reporting outputs to communicate findings to business and technical stakeholders.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and workflow standards to support consistency, repeatability, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and partner teams to support data-driven solutions, operational reporting, and analytical initiatives.
- Use data tools and technologies to identify patterns, validate source data, and contribute to scalable data engineering practices.

Experience you'll need to have:
- 0-2 years of professional work experience in data engineering, data analysis, software development, reporting, or a related field.
- Experience using programming, query, or data processing tools such as Python, Java, R, SQL, or similar technologies through coursework, internships, military experience, or related experience.
- Experience working with large datasets and supporting data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, or documentation activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Technical Project Management, or a related technology field, completed in December 2024 or later, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
- Must have earned and maintain a cumulative 3.0+ grade point average.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Exposure to financial services, commerce, fraud analytics, or customer insight use cases.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while supporting multiple assignments.
How you'll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
