Demand Generation Marketing Specialist
Salary
Job description
Who We Are:
We are a premium branding solutions company serving corporate and collegiate partners. We deliver high-impact, timely solutions that elevate brands and drive measurable results. Our DesignLab team sits at the center of it all, blending creativity, marketing, and technology to generate demand and support sales growth across all verticals.
The Opportunity:
We are growing our DesignLab and hiring Demand Generation Marketing Specialists with one primary mission: turning our database of 80,000+ contacts into a consistent stream of inbound leads. The majority of these contacts have either never purchased or haven’t engaged with us in years. Your role is to re-engage and convert them through smart segmentation, compelling campaigns, and continuous optimization. This is an execution-focused, email-first, data-driven role.
Our business is approximately 60% collegiate and 40% corporate. You’ll need to understand both audiences, develop relevant offers, and execute campaigns that drive quote requests and product inquiries. If you enjoy building campaigns, reactivating dormant audiences, and directly impacting pipeline, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do:
Own Email Marketing — Primary Channel
- Build and execute targeted email campaigns across collegiate and corporate segments
- Develop re-engagement and win-back sequences for dormant contacts
- Segment audiences by vertical, persona, purchase history, and engagement behavior
- Write and test subject lines, body copy, and CTAs to improve performance
- Manage list health, deliverability, and compliance (CAN-SPAM)
- Use ActiveCampaign to build automations, flows, and reporting
Create Offers & Campaigns That Drive Inbound
- Develop seasonal promotions, limited-time offers, and category-specific campaigns
- Partner with DesignLab and sales to align campaigns with key moments (collegiate calendars, corporate initiatives, holiday gifting, etc.)
- Build landing pages and lead capture experiences that convert
- Continuously test and optimize offers to improve response and conversion rates
Support Social & Digital Channels
- Execute organic and paid social campaigns that support email initiatives
- Assist with digital advertising (Meta, LinkedIn, Google) as campaign amplification
- Adapt campaign messaging across channels
Measure, Report & Optimize
- Track performance across opens, clicks, conversions, and pipeline contribution
- Identify high-performing segments and scale what works
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation, testing, and analysis
- Share weekly insights with clear recommendations on next steps
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of hands-on marketing experience (execution-focused)
- Experience building and managing email marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of segmentation, targeting, and re-engagement strategies
- Familiarity with email platforms (ActiveCampaign is a plus)
- Basic understanding of lead generation funnels and conversion optimization
- Strong copywriting skills with a focus on driving action
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail, organization, and ownership
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing to collegiate or higher education audiences
- Familiarity with branded merchandise, promotional products, or B2B marketing
- Experience with paid social (Meta, LinkedIn) or Google Ads
- Experience using AI tools for content, testing, or workflow automation
What’s in It for You?
- Full benefits + 401(k) match
- High ownership, high visibility role
- Fast-paced, results-driven environment
