About the role
As a Junior Compliance Officer, you will be part of a global security and compliance community that ensures reputable DXC-owned customer-facing systems meet evolving regulatory and industry standards. The role sits at the intersection of governance, risk, and technology, working closely with delivery, security, and business teams. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping teams stay ahead of compliance requirements while continuously improving processes. This role starts with a strong internal focus but has the potential to evolve into a customer-facing position over time.
Daily challenges
Coordinating and executing regular internal and external compliance reviews
Tracking and following up on security and compliance gaps across multiple teams
Monitoring changes in regulations and standards (e.g. NIS2, ISO27001) and assess impact
Reviewing documentation versus real-life processes and identify misalignments
Maintaining action lists for non-compliance findings and security improvements
Supporting BCP preparation, verification, and testing activities
Providing ongoing compliance awareness and guidance to technical and non-technical
eXperience and skills required
At least 3 years of experience within the IT field
Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and audit processes
Ability to perform gap analyses and compliance assessments in complex environments
Excellent coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working in an advisory role without direct accountability
Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical actions for teams
Experience with security and compliance frameworks (ISO27001, NIS2, BSI IT-Grundschutz, GDPR, etc.) will be considered advantage
