Job Description:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting support for the client program. This role analyzes financial data, prepares detailed reports, and assists with budgeting and forecasting processes. The Financial Analyst works closely with project managers, finance teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial planning, compliance with policies, and effective support for financial decision‑making. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential for success in this position
The Work:
- Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and dashboards for leadership and project stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and cost projections.
- Support variance analysis, cost tracking, and financial performance assessments.
- Ensure financial documentation and reporting comply with organizational and client policies.
- Work closely with project managers and finance personnel to provide timely financial insights.
- Utilize financial systems, tools, and software (e.g., Excel, ERP platforms) to analyze and manage financial information.
- Support process improvements in financial reporting, budgeting workflows, and data accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure high levels of quality and attention to detail in all financial outputs.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis requests as needed.
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; or 4 years additional equivalent work experience.
- Understanding of financial principles related to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proficiency with financial tools and software, including Excel and ERP systems.
Bonus points if you have:
- Familiarity with financial environments in corporate, federal, or contracting programs.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or similar financial credentials.
- Experience with financial modeling, advanced analytics, or business intelligence tools.
Security Clearance:
- Must be a US citizen (No Dual Citizenship)
- Must possess an active Secret clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
