Control Room Operator

• Swiftly react to incidents, accidents, and emergencies on the national motorway network and/or Dublin Tunnel.
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• Utilise cutting-edge technology to identify, analyse, and regulate traffic patterns and incidents.
• Collaborate with emergency services, contractors, and stakeholders for a prompt and effective response to any situation.
• Deliver concise, precise instructions to drivers using various communication tools, such as variable message signs and social media.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and prepare comprehensive reports as part of your administrative duties.
• Foster smooth and secure traffic movement through effective communication with team members, road users, and stakeholders.
• Ensure that all processes and procedures are undertaken in line with Company Standards ISO 55001, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant customer service experience.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of motivation.
• Exceptional communication skills to provide clear instructions and updates.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate with diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Strong organisational abilities to manage incident logs and reports.
• Prior experience in a control room or traffic management role is beneficial.
