You’ll contribute to the welcoming, fresh shopping experience Farm Boy is known for by delivering consistent, high-quality support within the Chef Department. With a strong attention to detail and a team-focused approach, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment while ensuring all equipment and displays meet sanitation and food safety standards. Here are some of the other ways you’ll help us stand out:

• Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional customer service that supports Farm Boy’s commitment to an exceptional fresh shopping experience.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and in accordance with established cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock kitchen equipment and tools to support daily department operations.
• Complete end-of-shift cleaning, including breakdown and sanitation of dishwashing and food preparation equipment.
• Perform required temperature checks for hot and cold food areas to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
• Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures, with a focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, and proper equipment use.
• Complete assigned opening and closing tasks and provide support to team members as required.
• Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.

• Retail experience is considered an asset; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• The ability to work independently with attention to detail and pride in delivering quality results and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach supported by strong communication and organizational skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, and work that may be performed in coolers, freezers, and outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
