Job description

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Drive the overall training strategy for the Distribution and Field Sales Team.

Develop materials for our Field Sales and Distribution network.

Ownership of all sales training and development resources for Red Bull’s field teams (Red Bull Canada, Red Bull Canada Distribution & 3rd party).

Updating and Maintenance of our online training suite (Skill Pills) assuring they are always up to date and relevant to current market realities.

Develop tools and processes that drive results and efficiencies in field (VIP Toolkit, Margin Calculators, etc).

Assuring materials are provided in both official languages.

 

DISTRIBUTION PARTNER MANAGEMENT

Work With our distributor in Ontario and Western Canada to assure regional implementation of RBCA’s strategies and priorities, review KPI’s, discuss opportunities and threats in the region and provide regular updates.

Assign, review, adjust sales, distribution and execution targets to DP based on business targets and follow up accordingly.

Regular Trade Visits with DP sales force to coach and unlock distribution and executional opportunities.

Analyze regional opportunities, take action and implement necessary plans to maximize results.

Be a credible beverage business consultant to DP and customers, and act as a category captain.

 

DRIVING ENGAGEMENTS

Work with Distribution Partners management to validate content distributed to broader Distribution team (help translate insight into action for distributor facing content).

Develop Regional Incentives and work with local teams to maximize results.

Lead “Special Projects” such as Red Bull Event market blitz’, Campaign launches, In-Market Big Moments – driving results and providing accurate post reporting to the organization.

Minimum 5 years experience in Consumer Packaged Goods.

Undergrad degree required.

Distributor and / or Supplier experience required.

Demonstrated skills as a change agent and collaborator.

Tactical thinker with strong business acumen.

Good communication skills, including presenting and training abilities.

Displayed ability to problem solve.

Ability to develop, drive and implement a retail execution strategy.

Display strength in analytics.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Fluent in French and English is an asset. 

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $93,589 to $103,441 . The actual base salary for this position will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience and work location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of Red Bull’s bonus plan.
