We are looking for a person in Brokerage that is responsible for the accurate and timely customs clearance of international parcel shipments into and out of Luxembourg. This role ensures full compliance with EU and local customs regulations while supporting operational efficiency and service commitments.

The position requires strong knowledge of customs procedures, close collaboration with internal stakeholders, and effective communication with customs authorities and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform import and export customs clearance activities for parcel shipments in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Prepare, review and submit customs declarations and supporting documentation
  • Verify compliance with EU customs law, trade compliance and security requirements
  • Liaise with customs authorities, internal operations teams and external customers to resolve clearance issues
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively manage delays or exceptions
  • Maintain accurate and complete customs records in brokerage and operational systems
  • Adhere to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal quality standards
  • Support internal controls, audits and compliance reviews
  • Identify and propose process improvements to enhance clearance efficiency and service quality

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in import/export brokerage, customs clearance or international logistics would be nice
  • Solid understanding of EU customs regulations and cross‑border trade processes
  • Experience with customs clearance systems (e.g. EU customs IT systems or equivalent)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with logistics or ERP systems is an advantage
  • Fluency in English is required; French and/or German is a strong asset
