Job Description

SUMMARY 

The position manages overall warehouse operation, including strategy development, supplier evaluation, cost analysis, contract development, resource planning, execution monitoring, operation optimization, billing validation and budget control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Strategic Alignment: Formulate and execute comprehensive logistics strategies that synergize with overarching corporate objectives and long-term business scalability.
• Operational Solutioning: Architect and deliver bespoke logistical solutions to address complex business requirements, ensuring a balance between service excellence and operational agility.
• Organizational Leadership: Lead high-performance teams toward the attainment of departmental milestones; spearhead talent development through structured coaching and competency-building programs.
• KPI Orchestration: Define, monitor, and optimize critical operational metrics, including productivity, inventory accuracy,…etc.
• Gap Analysis & Remediation: Conduct rigorous root-cause analysis on performance variances; develop and execute robust action plans to drive continuous improvement and corrective outcomes.
• Lean Transformation: Lead Value Stream Analysis (VSA) to streamline workflows, eliminate non-value-added activities (waste), and enhance process throughput.
• Fiscal Governance: Assume full accountability for annual budgetary development and stringent expenditure control; perform granular cost-benefit analysis to identify and capture savings opportunities.
• Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead high-stakes contract negotiations and renewals; manage the procurement lifecycle for logistics services to ensure optimal commercial terms.
• 3PL Partnership Management: Oversee and synchronize operations with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and partnership synergy.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all logistical operations maintain strict compliance with internal corporate governance and local/international statutory regulations.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively manage operational risks to ensure business continuity and asset protection.
