You’ll play a key role in managing carbon data, supporting reporting and audits, and helping deliver practical sustainability initiatives that make a real impact.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, collaborative, and genuinely passionate about sustainability and carbon management.

  • Record clear, accurate meeting minutes and track actions
  • Maintain relationships with industry organisations and stay informed on emerging sustainability trends

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)

  • Champion WM’s HSEQ vision and contribute to a strong safety‑first culture
  • Ensure duties of care are met and safe work practices are followed
  • Participate in risk management, compliance, and internal control processes
  • Complete all required training to perform the role safely and effectively
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards

General Responsibilities

  • Act in line with WM’s values and culture in all interactions
  • Support people, capability, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to planning and resource allocation where required
  • Deliver high‑quality service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Undertake other duties as required

About You

You’re organised, analytical, and able to turn complex data into clear insights. You enjoy working across teams and are confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. You care deeply about sustainability and you want your work to contribute to measurable environmental impact.

  • Experience managing or supporting a carbon footprint system
