Job description
Purpose: The Alarm Operator analyses and manages alarm triggering and technical signals that have been received by the monitoring centre softwares and tools.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensure compliance with governance rules such as SOX, Health & Safety and Brinks policies
- Manage intrusion detection, access control and alarm systems.
- Monitor CCTV on client sites
- Process signals according to departmental procedures.
- Provide clear and concise information to the monitoring software.
- Place calls necessary to confirm an alarm.
- Trigger patrol intervention as needed and inform the Client.
- Contact the necessary authorities.
- Update the software and Collect feedback.
- Identify technical intervention needs and follow up with the Customer
- Receive and manage incoming client calls/request during non-office hours.
