JOB SUMMARY: The Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of a retail store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and efficient store management. They are responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, maintaining store appearance, and meeting sales targets. Key duties include training and mentoring employees, scheduling shifts, addressing customer inquiries and complaints, and implementing store policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Retail Supervisor provides excellent customer service Supervises the daily activities of the team on duty Actively promotes the selling of merchandise Monitors cash register operations Trains new hires Conducts audits The Retail Supervisor maintains and monitors daily schedules. Monitors stock levels to maximize sales. He or she receives, unpacks, folds and puts away the daily deliveries of merchandise. Employs selling techniques and works with associates to drive revenue.
