JOB SUMMARY: The Retail Associate assists customers in purchasing merchandise & promotes positive customer relations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Promote the selling of merchandise and be able to up sell merchandise Develop an excellent understanding of the product assortment in all the retail stores in order to help facilitate the customer decision making process Be knowledgeable about the products sold in the stores and alert the Manager to customer product needs so he or she may alert the buyers Register and cash handling operations Be knowledgeable on register operations Handle all payment transactions for guest purchases
