Material Handler

The Freight Handler is responsible for the manual handling, loading, unloading, sorting, and movement of goods within a warehouse, production facility, or logistics area. The role ensures proper storage, accurate order preparation, and safe handling of materials in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from trucks or containers

• Move, stack, and arrange materials in designated storage areas

• Assist with order picking and preparation for shipment

• Sort and organize products according to warehouse procedures

• Check goods for visible damage and report discrepancies

• Support inventory control activities

• Maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas

• Minimum basic education

• Previous experience in warehouse or production environment (an advantage)

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials

• Basic understanding of warehouse procedures

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
