About the role

Investigates, adjusts and maintains liability claims. Reviews coverages, obtains necessary investigatory information and determines liability.
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Claims Liability Representative to join our Claims team in a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office. In this position, you’ll leverage your advanced investigation and negotiation skills to manage complex liability claims, deliver fair and timely resolutions, and provide exceptional service. Your expertise and sound judgment will play a critical role in supporting member satisfaction while upholding COUNTRY’s values of integrity, accountability, and care.

How does this role make an impact?

- Investigates claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned claims with a focus on Bodily Injury and Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin statutes and laws.

- Investigates claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluates, negotiates and settles assigned claims.
- Initiates contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to gather basic information, obtain recorded statements (when necessary), and explain the overall claims process.
- Evaluates damages and prepares written estimates according to policy provisions and liability.

Do you have what we're looking for?

Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Maintains the appropriate adjuster's licensing as required by the states in which we do business.

- This job operates in a professional office or work from home environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners and copy machines.
- Work may extend beyond normal business hours as business needs dictate.
- May be called upon for catastrophic duty.

Base Pay Range:

$77,600-$106,700

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
