Our "Cryptography Engineering and Solutions" department, part of the Chief Security Office (CSO), serves as the bank’s central hub of expertise for all cryptography-related matters. Your key responsibilities

• Support Strategic Consulting & Expertise: Assist senior team members in providing advice on various cryptographic aspects within central programs, including key and certificate management. You’ll learn about innovative topics like Post-Quantum Cryptography and cryptographic agility.
• Security Design Authority: Learn and gradually take more responsibility in thorough project evaluations within the Security Design Authority framework, ensuring that cryptographic aspects are adequately considered and implemented across all projects.
• Tool and Script Development: Enhance team efficiency and process accuracy by developing and optimizing tools and scripts for cryptographic operations and security assessments.

Your skills and experience

We are seeking an engaged and curious individual, passionate about starting a career in cryptography and eager to learn from our experienced team to make a contribution to the team’s success. To qualify for the position, you already provide:

• Academic Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cryptography, Information Security, or a closely related technical field is essential.
• Foundational Cryptographic Knowledge: You possess a solid academic understanding of cryptography, particularly in key and certificate management, cryptographic primitives, and their secure application within protocols. Practical experience gained through academic projects or internships is a plus.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Go, C#, Python, or Perl, with the ability to develop scripts and demonstrate problem-solving through code.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken, are required.
• Communication & Learning Agility: You are a proactive learner, able to communicate clearly, and eager to interact with various teams. A confident demeanor and a willingness to grow are key.
